Mike Ward – Freedom of speech isn’t free

– The Nasty Show

Freedom of speech isn’t free

“Human Rights Commission (of Quebec) wants me to pay $80K for the joke, I’ve decided that if I’m going to have to pay $80K… I’m going to get my money’s worth. I’m bringing the joke to Edinburgh, I even plan on learning Spanish so I can go make fun of disabled children in Spain and Mexico.

Should you make fun of disabled children? Of course you shouldn’t. Should we be allowed to? Of course we should.

In the show I want to talk about things that you should be allowed to talk about. The mentally challenged, slavery, pedophiles, the disabled, battered women, and of course (everybody’s favorite) AIDS !” – Mike Ward
