Julien Dionne
- Humorist
- Host
Acadian by birth, Julien Dionne began his career performing stand-up in comedy clubs across New York and from coast to coast in Canada. During this 15-year period, he made a name for himself in the industry and was nominated for “Best Breakout Artist” at the Canadian Comedy Awards.
For the past four years, Julien has been building his career in French, his mother tongue. Just some of his performances include at Mehdi Bousaidan’s Juste pour Rire gala in 2020, at the D’un rire à l’autre galas and ComediHa!’s Trait d’Humour from 2018 to 2021 (available on unis.tv). You can also follow him on his podcast, which he hosts with his English-speaking comedian wife Jen Grant, on his website, or at Mike Ward’s Sous Écoute at Le Bordel Comédie Club.
Julien’s anecdotes will charm you as much as his New Brunswick accent and warmth.
